Who am I?

I grew up living rurally in Central Otago, New Zealand. I was lucky to be introduced to the outdoors from an early age through skiing, kayaking, and working with Mum and Dad on the farm.

My competitive nature led to canoe slalom and ski racing internationally, before an untimely injury and desire to explore saw me pivot towards focussing on adventures and expeditions in the mountains and on remote rivers. This passion for adventure still fuels me - now combined with a desire to use storytelling and experiences to get more people into the outdoors and protecting our environment.

A life view of focusing on solutions and not dwelling on the problem led me to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury, followed by certifications in Business Sustainability Management and as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Now Iā€™m combining my skills and experience to double down on this little kid's dream - to help people and planet in a meaningful way, to the maximum of my ability.
